Yes, acupuncture is considered safe when performed by a qualified practitioner. We use sterile, single-use needles to ensure your safety. Side effects are rare but can include minor bruising or soreness.
During your first session, we will conduct a thorough consultation to understand your health history. You will then lie down comfortably while the needles are inserted. Many patients report feeling relaxed and may even fall asleep during treatment.
The number of sessions varies based on individual needs and conditions. Generally, a series of treatments is recommended for optimal results. We will work with you to create a personalised treatment plan.

Health fund rebates are available for most private health funds. There are some that I donot work with, if you have any questions please get in touch.
An acupuncture session is $90.
I offer a mobile service for acupuncture. I add an extra $10 to cover my costs for this service. Making this service currently $100. Please also be aware that only the following health funds offer claims for mobile acupuncture : Australian unity, GU health, NIB and Peoplecare HealthInsurance.
